Wood flowers are made from the root of the SHOLA plant. The flowers are softened during the dyeing process when we add vegetable glycerin.

This rose box is a great example of how easily wood flowers can ship! They are SO LIGHTWEIGHT! This box is approximately 6x6 inches, and we can put ANY flowers in it. In most cases, this box of flowers ships for $14-22 in addition to the arrangement!
FAQs
What are these flowers made of?
They are made from the root of a marsh plant called Shola. The root is fibrous and flexible, and they break it down like paper. The "paper" is cut according to the flower style, and they are rolled. MADE IN UTAH.
How are they colored?
Brooke is the colorist, and she uses acrylic paint and vegetable glycerin for each flower. The vegetable glycerin is for softening the flowers. Soft flowers are more realistic, and they discourage breakage and damage. If a color exists 🌈, we can recreate it in wood flowers!
Can they be shipped?
ABSOLUTELY! The flowers are very lightweight, and they are easily protected in a box full of styrofoam peanuts. We have shipped many, many arrangements, and not a petal has been broken!
Do you do weddings?
YES! Wood flowers are perfect for weddings. Usually wood flowers cost LESS than real flowers, and everyone can enjoy them forever! Look at wedding information below...
Can I bring my own vase or container?
WE PREFER IT! We all have empty vessels that we've been storing for years. Why? Because they're pretty! Bring those empty vessels to Luna Wood Flowers, and we'll fill them up with whatever you like! It saves you money too!

Any color is possible. We are inspired by nature, but not limited by it!
The flowers can be done months and months before the wedding, so it's one less thing to stress about!
Since the flowers don't die, you can use them for attendant gifts or home decor after the wedding day is long over.
